| 11/02 | From
the buyer..."he looks exactly like the photograph. The outfit fits
him perfectly. The tush tag has been cut horizontally and the bottom half
is missing so there's no way to know what year the bear was made. It says
"Made Exclusively for Starbucks Company" but no year, etc." From Felix..."This looks like a regular Starbucks bearista wearing a costume from Design-a-Bear shop at the mall, which would explain the lack of tags!" From the seller..."I found this
bear dressed just like this at an estate sale..I go to all of those. It
was in a box with some betty boop dolls"...she said it was given to her as
well.

| 10/02 | It was reported by someone who
saw the "catalog" of holiday
merchandise for stores. The bear was indeed as described, with an
ornament and a little stocking cap with a pom-pom on top. There is
also a "jumbo" size again, as well as a jumbo bear in a pedal car--a real one, not a prop, that goes for like $400 |

- Frankenstein and a Rudolf bears. I guess we'll just have to wait and
see.

| 8/02 | "Prior rumor had it that the next
bear will be a "black kitty cat" bear for Halloween, followed by a
Christmas bear holding an ornament you put a picture in, followed by A US
ONLY bear (a prisoner!) AND AN INTERNATIONAL ONLY (gondolier) bear. I will
keep you posted as the info firms up." Here they are..........

| 7/02 | For those of you wondering about the Beach Bear Set - I was recently informed by Starbucks that the Summer Bear Set was only released in a few test markets and will NOT be released elsewhere. My previous sources told me both bears would be released in North America this summer, but maybe not the magnets. So, let's say they will not be released and then if they are it will be a great surprise. |

PANDA BEARISTA UPDATE ==>>>> Sort
of a false alarm. There were Pandas given away at Starbucks in Asia, BUT
they were not our cute little brown bear in a little panda suite as we
imagined. It was a panda bear with a ribbon with writing on it.
The pandas were associated with a punch card - buy 10 coffees and you got the bear. |
